The Paget’s Association introduced an award to recognise hospital (NHS) and university departments which demonstrate excellence in both the treatment of Paget’s disease and research into the condition. The UK centres which have been recognised as Paget's Association Centres of Excellence are listed below.

WebsiteProfessors Nicholas Harvey and Elaine Dennison manage the Southampton Centre of Excellence. The Metabolic Bone Service provides services for the diagnosis, investigation and management of bone conditions including Paget’s Disease. The service is closely connected with a programme of research at the MRC Lifecourse Epidemiology Centre at the University of Southampton.

WebsiteThe Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases, part of the Royal United Hospitals in Bath, has been recognized as a Paget’s disease centre of excellence. Patients with known or suspected Paget’s disease are seen within a monthly dedicated metabolic bone disease clinic, under the supervision of Dr Hardcastle or Dr Ahmed, with all necessary diagnostic / treatment facilities available on site. Patients are encouraged to participate in research, supported by our well-established rheumatology research team.
