The Paget’s Association introduced an award to recognise hospital (NHS) and university departments which demonstrate excellence in both the treatment of Paget’s disease and research into the condition. The UK centres which have been recognised as Paget's Association Centres of Excellence are listed below.

The Midland Metabolic Bone Centre has a dedicated clinic within the rheumatology department where patients with Paget’s disease are seen on at least an annual basis, depending on symptoms. The centre is linked to the Haywood Rheumatology Centre which has a track record of leading and participating in clinical research.

Led by Dr Terry Aspray, the Newcastle Bone Clinic was established in 1984 by Professor Roger Francis. The clinical team comprises of medical and specialist nursing staff, as well as clinical pharmacist and physiotherapists. With links to Newcastle University, they also participle in research into Paget’s disease.
