NEW! The Paget’s Association’s MRes Award 2022
The Paget’s Association invites applications for Funded MRes Research Projects in all areas of Paget’s Disease of Bone (new for 2022). These grants are only available for projects based in the UK, will cover student stipend and University (home) tuition fees, and are intended to attract the most promising graduates to the Paget’s research field.
VALUE AND DURATION
Funding will cover university tuition fees (up to £10,000) and student stipend (£17,000 total) for one year postgraduate MRes projects (two years for part-time study). Where host institutions do not provide running costs, up to £3,000 may be provided by the Association (subject to agreement). The total value of award will not exceed £30,000.
HOW TO APPLY
This will be a one-stage process. Proposals should be submitted to the Paget’s Association using the project MRes application form, which can be downloaded here
Applications will be reviewed by our external Research Grants Committee (RGC) with funding decisions in April 2022. Applications can be academic supervisor(s), or joint academic/student-led (with students named on the application). For academic-led projects, appointment of a suitable candidate must be agreed in advance with the Association prior to funding being released.
Academic supervisors should include a short CV, and for joint applications (with students named on the application) student CV should also be included.
